Ural Oil & Gas LLP informs about the successful completion of work on the reopening of five wells and the making by the Shareholders of the final investment decision on the project

Ural Oil & Gas LLP (hereinafter referred to as the Partnership) informs that on September 8, 2021, the re-activation program of five production wells of the Rozhkovskoye field within the Fedorovskiy block of the West Kazakhstan region, which began on December 3, 2020, was successfully completed. A set of necessary studies was carried out at the wells, downhole equipment was lowered, Christmas trees were installed at the wellheads for the subsequent commissioning of wells. When performing production operations, all requirements for labor protection, safety and environmental protection were observed.

The partnership also informs that on September 15, 2021, a regular in-person meeting of the Board of Directors of Ural Group Limited, the Partnership’s Sole Participant took place. During the meeting, the Board of Directors approved the final investment decision regarding the further development of the project. Thus, the Partnership plans to start the operations required for executing the development of the field and its infrastructure for subsequent exploitation.

As a reminder, the Partnership operates within the framework of the Contract for the production of gas and condensate at the Rozhkovskoye field, concluded with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan until April 2, 2040.
