Under the Presidential Address of 1 September 2020, in particular, the seventh direction of the document to initiate the process of greening the country, 2021 has been declared the Year of Ecology throughout the group of "KazMunayGas" companies. The plan of measures aimed at ensuring environmental safety provides for the planting of greenery in populated areas of the country's regions. And employees of the UOG subsidiary company, took part in the landscaping of the WKO Baiterek district, where it performs its production activities.
By the way, UOG operates at the Fedorovsky block, in administrative relations, located in the West Kazakhstan region. The shareholders are: JSC NC KazMunayGas, MOL Group and First International Oil Company (a subsidiary of the Chinese oil and gas company Sinopec). Exploration at the Fedorovsky area began in 2000. The Rozhkovsky Oil and Gas Condensate Field was discovered in 2008. Administratively, the Rozhkovskaya area is located in Baiterek District of West Kazakhstan Oblast, 70 km northeast of Uralsk, on the right bank of the Ural river.
The UOG management, in agreement with the administration of the educational organization, decided to plant apple trees of different varieties on the Yanvartsevskaya area, school-kindergarten complex, where children live throughout the school year. In addition, a watering pump with a drip irrigation system was purchased and installed for the garden to provide irrigation. The other day the UOG personnel planted the first saplings of apple trees.
The UOG personnel thanks the school administration for their assistance in planting trees and hopes that soon the apple trees will take root and bear fruit to the delight of children.
