World Environment Day is an annual environmental holiday celebrated around the world on June 5. It is no coincidence that Environment Day is called a World day. It is celebrated in all developed countries, where the problem of ecological conservation has long been recognized. Only when the whole world comes together can we succeed in preserving a prosperous environment. This is a day when everyone on the planet should think about whether they are doing all they can for the future generations to enjoy and appreciate Earth's beauties and riches. Man is a part of nature, therefore it is very important for all of us to understand that we are totally dependent on everything that surrounds us: air, land, water, forest.
Traditionally, our Company holds annual events dedicated to this event.
This year, the Company held a training session for employees on "Environmental impact of mining". Head of HSE Service Zainullin A.A. emphasized the impact of production operations on the environment around the world, afterwards Senior Engineer Tulegenova I.S. spoke about upcoming construction and operation of facilities, their expected impact on environmental components, measures to reduce and prevent their negative impact.
After the training, HSE officers along with the Contractor Neftestroyservis LTD and the Akimat of the Yanvartsevo rural district held a community cleanup along the bank of the Ural River near Yanvartsevo village.
