On March 30 and 31, 2023 in 4 rural districts of Baiterek district - Yanvartsevsky, Kurmangazy, Chirovsky, Sulukolsky rural districts public hearings by open meeting concerning the documents package of "Ural Oil and Gas" LLP to obtain Environmental Impact Permit for 2023. Based on Articles 87, 122 of Environmental Code of RK the Disturbed Lands Reclamation Project of Rozhkovskoye Field Development Project, located in Baiterek, West Kazakhstan region with the Section of Environment Protection, Maximum Allowable Emissions Project (MAE) for "Ural Oil and Gas" LLP, Draft Waste Management Program, Draft Industrial Environmental Monitoring Program, Draft Environmental Management Action Plan for 2023 were presented at the public hearings.
The hearings were organized by EPC Contractor Neftestroyservice LLP, subcontracting engineering company JSC SRDI Caspiymunaigas and the Akimats of rural districts. The hearings were attended by representatives of Akimats, schools, farms, local businesses and residents of the settlements.
First, a report on Disturbed Lands Reclamation Project of Rozhkovskoye Field Development Project was heard. By the results of the report it was summed up that the consequences of the designed works will be minimal, short-term in case of observance of environmental measures. After the report hearing the public representatives voiced their questions, proposals and comments regarding the planned works were given. All questions were fully and clearly answered by representatives of the Company, EPC Contractor and engineering company.
